The second high Jewellry collection from Louis Vuitton, Stellar Times, has been unveiled for the first time in Dubai alongside new additions to the Riders of the Knights range, both from designer Francesca Amfitheatrof – the Maison’s Artistic Director of Watches and Jewellry.
The display at the Salon Privée of the Dubai Mall boutique, which ran from February 28 to March 8, 2021, also featured the regional reveal of Sewelô – the second largest rough diamond ever discovered – and Sethunya, a 549-carat rough diamond of superlative quality.
Louis Vuitton celebrated the unveiling of its new high Jewellry collection and unique precious stones with highly select VICs at events curated by the Luxury Hive in the Al Shindagha Museum in Dubai.
The exclusive reveals were complemented by their historic surroundings, which encapsulate the proud story of the UAE and its traditions and offer an intimate insight into Dubai’s vibrant past. Inspired by the LV Haute Joaillerie collection, attendees experienced a spectacular blend of traditional and modern in a virtual voyage across the solar system, all projected against the rich backdrop of the museum interior.
At "Yasmin Al Mulla's Lifestyle Edit" – an intimate and exclusive evening in the private salon of Louis Vuitton’s flagship Dubai Mall boutique – special guests had the opportunity to preview iconic creations from Yasmin’s unique perspective.
The highlight of the evening, which was presented by the Luxury Hive, was Yasmin's ability to capture Louis Vuitton’s spirit of bold adventure by skillfully blending these different creations in various insightful combinations.
The attendees were captivated by the experience in the elegant and exclusive surroundings of the private salon, surrounded by iconic and spectacular designs, and were treated to a "clean food" menu which was curated by Yasmin specially for the occasion.

The reopening of Louis Vuitton’s flagship boutique in Dubai Mall, co-organized by the Luxury Hive, provided an ideal environment in which to celebrate local talent.
Encapsulating the spirit of the brand, a collection of iconic, hand-painted trunks created by Alia Zaal Lootah provided added splendor and exuberance to the occasion. Known for her tonal explorations, Lootah’s collaboration with the brand incorporated geometric representations of Emirati heritage to strike an enticing balance of complementary images and hues, leaving a deep impression on the VICs in attendance.
Chef Khaled devised a one-off menu blending the rich culinary traditions of France and the UAE. By capturing the exquisite presentation and eclectic variety of the brand to create an unforgettable gourmet experience for attending VICs, the celebrated chef and his team represented a key focal point of the event.
Coinciding with the much-anticipated reopening, renowned Emirati opera singer and pianist Fatima Al Hashemi entranced an exclusive audience with an intimate recital, complemented by an exquisite solo cello performance.
