With the aim of providing the necessary skills to master customer relationships in the region, the Luxury Hive provided a bespoke training program, “Inspiring GCC Clients,” to the team at Bottega Veneta in the Middle East. The program was masterfully delivered by Amal Al Mesafri and Kais Badran to help Bottega Veneta sales staff connect effectively with local communities in the region.
Amal Al Mesafri – a media influencer, HR expert and empowering female figure in the Emirates – is the Luxury Hive’s Talent Strategist, delivering training on creative communications with GCC nationals and VIPs. Kais Badran, the Founder of Grey Matter Group, is an award-winning master trainer and an established creative speaker with over 22 years of learning and development experience in luxury retail.
Delivered online, the course had been specifically tailored to foster understanding of the GCC’s cultural framework among Bottega Veneta front-liners, allowing them to build deeper connections with clients whilst remaining faithful to the brand’s corporate guidelines and retail strategies. It provided them the skills and techniques with which to resolve or avoid challenging client situations, enhance retention and maximize sales. The training sessions were highly interactive, thanks to the passion and enthusiasm of the team.
In collaboration with Vasil Bozhilov, our specialist Fashion Consultant, the Luxury Hive delivered a bespoke ‘styling training booster’ for Bottega Veneta Middle East. Spread over two days, the training sessions were held at the flagship BV boutique in Dubai Mall on November 16–17.
The booster provided participants with fresh insights on the art and science of fashion consulting, including techniques for creating ‘style profiles’ tailored to the specific demographics of BV’s target market; and how to identify, interpret and develop styling concepts inspired by current and future trends.
The objective of the program was to transform the participating sales associates into effectual in-store fashion consultants, enabling them to offer a unique and comprehensive brand experience, whilst also learning to create their own persona as successful stylists.
The training session covered the fundamentals of styling and provided deep insights into using body type and colour wheel navigation to create different looks that complement the shape and skin tone of clients.
Vasil also highlighted the importance of ‘active’ listening and qualitative questioning in developing a better understanding of clients’ needs and selecting suitable clothing. The entire program was interactive in nature, featuring animations, case studies and engaging activities. The mix-and-match exercises were tailored to the BV Pre Spring ‘20 collection, emphasising its emotional qualities.
