On July 23rd, the virtual session discussed the prospects of in-house and independent artisans and craftsman in view of the current economic situation, and how they might be empowered given both the evolving attitudes of consumers toward design and craftsmanship, and the changing prioritization of cultural heritage.

High-profile experts from the UAE and Italy explored the curation and documentation of cultural heritage during this unprecedented time, and analyzed the challenging new realities facing design houses and artisan communities.
